Not for love of money, but of Humanity. "Greater is he who works for the good of all, then he who works for the good of himself only" ~ Matthew 25:40: "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"- (NIV). I live in Singapore where the Emperor must not be disturbed.

[Meritocracy]= 86% discount off Medishield-life premiums for the health conscious.

- In line with national productivity campaign: U don't need to see GP or specialist to take medicine to be healthy by making daily efforts in staying healthy: (healthy diet, moderate alcohol consumption, a smaller waist circumference, regular exercise and not smoking according to study.)
Meritocracy: those who are health conscious and a reduced BURDEN on gahmen healthcare subsidies ought to be rewarded. Since their chance of heart attack is 86% less, chances are that they will be employable/ productive for longer: thus, these responsible folks should be rewarded with 86% discount in premiums under the new/ compulsory Medishield-life scheme.

Of course, cheats like Jover Chew (etc): pls be warned: U must do annual cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure, BMI, CO levels for smokers etc (if not a 2.4km IPPT test/ equivalent as substitute for cholesterol etc levels/ to get maximum discount of 86% off annual premiums payable): just attaching the fit-bit exercise tracker to your pet-dog's leg will NOT count as valid lifestyle improvement (objective cardiovascular risk calculators such as Framingham Risk Score - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia will have to be used {alt calc. site})

Medishield-life: premiums for obese people should be at least 5% more...

Because their cancer risk is accordingly higher... Oops: maybe should be 50% more if the diagnosis of cancer also means that one does not need to pay anymore premiums from that point of diagnosis/ hospitalisation onwards (to cover for the post cancer-diagnosis period where healthy premium payers had to subsidise the sick member).

PS: the report also says that smokers and those with infections (?HIV?) have a higher risk of cancer, so I think smokers/ HIV infected premiums will also have to be at least 10% more...

The true purpose of IDA is to help telcos make more $$$.

IDA feels that ALL Singaporeans are very rich and that NOBODY will want to 'downgrade' from post-paid to pre-paid plan even though such a plan may be more affordable for a user's needs.
Does IDA receive bribes from telcos???!!! Telcos allow 'pre-paid' to 'post-paid' conversion because post-paid plans are more profitable (higher-priced) but IDA says :"IDA notes that all the mobile operators already offer switching of pre-paid services to post-paid. IDA does not currently foresee a compelling reason to require the operators to offer a service that allows switching in the other direction."do telcos like to offer ex-IDA staffs C-suite/ cushy directorship jobs: thus the bias in IDA's policies towards telcos profitablilty???!!!: why speak of number portability benefits if the underlying purpose seems to be maintaining telcos profitability???!!! Surely there must be some solution for those not keen on there current telcos packaged deals to stick to their old plans (with rebates attached and not discontinued) or else have the option to downgrade to 'pre-paid' plans whilst retaining their old HP numbers.

Instead of relying on biased and one-sided surveys: IDA should phrase the question as such: "if I am short of cash and a 'pre-paid' plan becomes more suitable for my needs: I should have the option of downgrading to a pre-paid plan having satisfied any existing post-paid subscription obligations.": if the IDA places citizen's interest and welfare FIRST that is.

Is the true reason for number portability that of increasing telcos post-paid user base of contracted users since the switch is only ONE WAY???!!!

Even the last line of IDA relpy shows that IDA staffs treat telcos as their true employers: "We note your feedback and will be sharing with the service providers for their consideration. Thank you." So much for probable telco's sponsored golden parachutes, Singaporeans have earned themselves a raw deal.

Law/ politics= snake oil in Singapore???!!!

Letter to press by SMU dean's list law student: if indeed it is the dean's list law student, my guess is that many in Singapore's political elite are money faced/ smoke weed in their ivory towers...

Why does his legal logic reek of the same bias and stink as the AGC conclusion about LHL's influence of votes at poking station in 1997 ???!!!

So its all about tax revenue $$$ or the bullying of minorities??? These scholars in their ivory towers should better stop smoking the weed that they pass around to each other: morally, they are no better than the shisha smokers loitering in dark alleys...

Not all revolutions are bad, good examples are 'dime a dozen' too.

From a few thousand years of history we know that (resistance, or in this time political) movements do not lead to a better future... have often led to an empire, slavery or war.
Communism and democracy are not the solutions, neither a unification or combination of both.
The solution is non-political independence from the system (especially on energy, because it's a fundament of nature), as individual or as family or with some friends, never in mass (but many people can work on the same idea as individuals)
People are part of nature, so the answer can be found in nature.
Politics or a revolution or a revolutionary movement are going to hurt your future and that of Hong Kong (some older Hong Kong people said that you must stop the Umbrella revolt and go back to work, which is half the solution. The solution is stop any revolution or political struggle, and work for yourself (try to become independent and self sustained on the fundamental things a family needs, you can keep your current job until you have a small buisness running)
Politics is not the language of the people (people are influenced by politics for a long time), it is used by persons that are seeking control and power over people.

Communism vs Democracy (Unite): the ball is at President Xi JinPing's feet.

I believe that in all forms of politics: communism, autocracy, democracy etc etc, the main focus should be care for poor people and the elimination of corruption. In this essay, I focus on the latter (corruption) and other points too.

Chiefly, WRT corruption, there are 2 main methods of targeting this, perhaps of equal importance: firstly, those against corruption should be people who are honourable themselves and who place charity above their own needs: healing the wounds of society by uplifting the impoverished. The second is transparency and freedom of speech so that whistle blowers cannot be silenced.

KBW circulates posed peektures showing how ill-bred South Asians are.

And they call that 'engagement': me thinks that the PA-PAP advisers to grassroots origanisations method of brainwashing foreign workers is high-handed and derogatory and will only serve to increase animosity by foreign workers against Singaporeans and rich foreigners (employment pass holders/ PR like Yang Yin pay ZERO levy BTW).
Either that or the PAP is trying to advertise to investors their skills at subdueing protest (in anticipation for more as Sinkieland matures as slave capital of the world) (most of the spectators do not look South Asian to me).

Yang Yin: did IRAS endorse his PR papers too???!!!

Did Yang Yin pay his $68,700 income tax bill on S$450k earnings declared or did IRAS diam diam, taxes waived because he is PA/ PAP related grassroots advisor/ leader???!!!
Yang Yin (PA-PAP member?):
[sauce]

IRAS personal income tax rates: IRAS: Income tax rates
YA2010: first $320k= $42,700 tax payable, thereafter rate is 20%.

Or is IRAS still asleep even AFTER the elderly widow's niece Hedi Mok blow whistle before the fake receipts were discovered???!!! If indeed taxes were paid: were the accounts clean and WHERE did the $68,700 to pay IRAS come from???!!! Yang Yin's corrupt scheme should have surfaced much much earlier, even BEFORE he was ever even considered to receive PR status...

CCS (implied): 'Proudly, we practise eugenics in Singapore'...

Title of the quoted report sounds really good/ grand, but devil is in the details, a deceptive headline indeed.

Extra leave for married mothers of 16weeks as opposed to the usual 8, to the extra 8weeks is 'R and R' for the mom to go tours (jiak huang) and enjoy herself???!!! So the real reason why people get married and have kids is to get leave from work to enjoy themselves (free bonus $$$ (next paragraph)) ???!!!

Kids of unwed moms are also INELIGIBLE for 'Baby Bonus Cash Gift and Child Development Account': so the 'child development account' is a reward to the parents: can use for 2nd honeymoon is it???!!! Likewise, the baby bonus cash is a reward to married couples for having unprotected sex and the proof of it???!!!

How CPIB saved the average Singaporean from near financial ruin.

And so prevented Ministerial level salaries in Singapore from hitting divinity benchmark levels.

I am so happy that CPIB decided to bring CHC Kong Hee Fatt Chai to task for laundering tithe (church building fund) $$$ to sponsor his wife half-naked striptease show to bait more to paystratospheric fees(/ membership fees /tithes) to him for his 30, 60, 100fold blessings ponzi scheme (like must sell HDB to give to church: the church being Kong Hee's sentosa cove pent house/ concealed earnings as I read it)...Indeed CPIB is doing its job: a difficult and thankless one at eradicating corruption

The crazy, lopsided laws of Singapore?...

As in the example I've come across: okay to loiter INSIDE polling station but not 200m circumference outside... (See nice Pict below).

Like saying, against the law to molest a woman, but if U rape her, than nothing in the law to make it a crime.
